Initial taste: smooth and slightly sweet, with a fruity and almost citrusy touch

Heat level: very low, practically imperceptible

Despite its name, pink pepper does not belong to the true pepper family. It is the fruit of the Schinus terebinthifolius tree, known as Brazilian peppertree, and is widely used as a decorative and aromatic spice.

It stands out for its mild and slightly sweet flavour, being valued more for its aroma and visual appeal than for its spicy intensity.
